More than 50 new toys were donated by runners in the Third Annual R.B. Wright Toy Run, held Dec. 4 at the Moultrie YMCA. The run is a service project of the Running Club at R.B. Wright that benefits the Christmas Cheer and Toy Shop. The entry fee for the race was a new toy.

Students at R.B. Wright Elementary School, along with their teachers, administrators and parents, participated Dec. 4 in the Third Annual R.B. Wright Toy Run to collect toys for the Children’s Cheer and Toy Shop.

The entry fee was a new toy and more than 50 such gifts were collected for the charity. Forty-two students and nine adults participated.

Gold, silver, and bronze medals were presented to the top three girl and boy winners for each grade represented, as well as the top three adult runners. All other students and adults were presented with a Medal for Participation.
