Pastor Appreciation

New Jerusalem Freewill Baptist Church will be having its Pastor Appreciation starting at 11 a.m., on Sunday, Nov. 17, with special music by Charlie and William Wiard. Lunch will immediately follow in the social hall. The church is located at 296 Jerusalem Church Road.

Diabetes Info Session

The John W. Whitaker Laymen’s group will host a diabetes information session at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the E.H. Hopkins Social Hall at Mother Easter Baptist Church. Carla Herrington of CRMC will be the guest speaker. A soup and salad brunch will follow.

Plate Sale

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 8th Street N.W., will be having a Pastor’s Aide Committee plate sale on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will include grilled chicken or pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans, bread, cake and soda.
