New Elm Baptist Church to hold revival

The Rev. Andy Croft, the pastor of New Elm Baptist Church, joins his congregation in inviting everyone to revival services beginning Sunday morning, Oct. 27, and continuing with evening services Sunday night through Wednesday night, Oct. 30. The Sunday morning service will begin at 11 a.m., and all of the evening services will begin at 7 p.m.

The revival speaker will be the Rev. Jimmy Voyles, the pastor of Crosland Baptist Church. A native of Grady County, Voyles is well known in the area, having formerly taught at Norman College and pastored Norman Park Baptist Church.

Music leader for the revival will be Jimbo Jarvis, a Colquitt County native who is currently serving as choral director at Willie J. Williams Middle School and interim music director at Moultrie First Baptist Church. In addition to his music ministry, Jarvis also serves as head coach for the Colquitt County High School boy’s soccer team.

Guest pianist will be Donald Kent, current pianist at Oak Grove Baptist Church and former member of The Georgia Boys Quartet.
