The Rev. Andy Croft, the pastor of New Elm Baptist Church, joins his congregation in inviting all former members and friends to homecoming services on Sunday, Oct. 13. The day will begin with a “Meet-and-Greet“ at 10:30 a.m., followed by worship at 11 with the Rev. James Williams bringing the homecoming message.
Williams served as New Elm’s pastor from 1993 through 1998 and is now the owner of Willcom Communications. He is also serving as bi-vocational associate pastor of Westside Baptist Church in Moultrie. His wife, Kaye Kimbrell Williams, is a curriculum secretary with the Colquitt County Board of Education.
The Williams have two children, Jesica, a physical therapy assistant in Thomasville, and Jared, who works for Willcom Communications. Jared and his wife, the former Jennifer Tucker, are the parents of a 2-month-old son, Jace McLette Williams.
Everyone attending the Homecoming service is asked to bring lots of good food and stay for the Homecoming Dinner.
New Elm Baptist Church is located eight miles north of Moultrie on Georgia Highway 33 North.
