A Moultrie couple were hit by bullets early Thursday morning when multiple shots were fired at their Southeast Moultrie residence.

Six children in the 823 Third St. S.E. residence of Jermaine and Mary Cobb were not injured, officials said.

Moultrie police said that bullets were fired through walls and windows shortly after midnight.

Both Jermaine and Mary Cobb were hit once in a leg. They were treated for their wounds and have been released.
