34th Homecoming at Colquitt County Baptist Church

- On Sunday, Sept. 29, Pastor and Mrs. Ken Anderson and the Colquitt County Baptist Church will celebrate their 34th Homecoming/Anniversary. In 1979, the Andersons came from the Chicago, Ill., area to Moultrie to found the church and they have been here for 34 years. They came here with two of their three children still at home, and now, all of their children plus many grandchildren live in the area. Dr. Jack High and the Happiness Hill Christian Girls Home of Union, Miss. will help them celebrate with testimonies and special music. The services start at 10 a.m., and a meal will be shared after the morning services. The church is located at 1717 Old Doerun Road (just 1.2 mile west of Main Street).
