Croft chosen to pastor New Elm Baptist

The members of New Elm Baptist Church recently welcomed the Rev. Andy Croft as their new pastor.

He and his wife, Cindy, are both lifelong residents of Berlin and grew up in Berlin Baptist Church.  He is the son of Norris and Carolyn Croft, and she is the daughter of K.G. and Nell Cardin.

Licensed to preach in January 1993 and ordained in August 1998, Croft is a bi-vocational pastor who has worked with Colquitt EMC for 26 years, currently as safety coordinator. He has previously served as pastor of Ellenton and Reedy Creek Baptist churches.

Mrs. Croft has been employed as the secretary of her father’s business, K. G. Cardin and Sons Farm, for 18 years.

 The Crofts have two daughters, Caitlin and Morgan. Caitlin, who is 17, will begin her college education at Darton College in August, and Morgan, who is 15, will be a sophomore at Colquitt County High School.

 New Elm Baptist Church, which is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, is located eight miles     north of Moultrie on Georgia Highway 33 North.
