Dr. Woodwin Weeks.

Moultrie native Woodwin Weeks, D.O., will join the medical staff of Colquitt Regional Medical Center and begin practicing family medicine at the Kirk Clinic July 8.

Weeks is board eligible in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, FL, and completed his residency and internship at Florida Hospital East Orlando.

As a family practitioner, Weeks will treat a variety of medical conditions in patients of all ages, from newborn to adults. The aim of family medicine is to provide personal, comprehensive and continual care.

Weeks is returning to Moultrie with his wife, Rachel, and three children.

“It has been my goal to join a family practice, and I am happy to be helping people of my hometown,” he said.

Weeks will join the team of family physicians at the Kirk Clinic, including Dr. Justin Baker, Dr. Robert Spruill and Dr. Gary Swartzentruber.
