Dawn Johns, a member of the Board of Directors of Moultrie Technical College since 2007, recently completed the requirements to become a Certified Board Member, as determined by the Technical College Directors’ Association of Georgia. Members are chosen to serve on the Moultrie Tech board because they represent the interests and concerns of the four counties of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth which the college serves. The purpose of board member certification is to build on the current skills of board members through workshops and activities that will further enhance their effectiveness as community leaders. Certification is voluntary on the part of the individual board member.
