The theme for this rally was ‘Beach Party.’ and the stage was decorated with a beach theme by Faye Brown and Debbie Jordan. Sowega Sams Chapter Three was named Chapter of the year. The state of Georgia has 28 chapters. This club also won third place in ‘Bean Bag Baseball.’ To receive Chapter of the Year, the club must participate in many activities. They also have projects that the club does as a Good Sams Club. The projects of chapter three are ‘Dogs for the Deaf’ and collecting items to be given to the VA hospital in Dublin, Ga. The couples from Colquitt County that are members of chapter three are Danny and Debbie Jordan, Wendell and Faye Brown, J. D. and Judy Clark and Jimmy and Gertrude Davis. Shown are Debbie and Danny Jordan, who is the 2012 president.
