Frustration
Trending
“I’m trying to back out of my parking space downtown. Parked next to me is a pickup truck that you need a ladded to get into the cab. It’s two farms long. As I inch back, I can’t see diddly squat. Eventually oncoming cars can see me. Not a single one will be courteous enough to let me back out. Eventually there’s a break in traffic so I ease back a little further. It appears I can now make a break for it. But lo and behold half way up the street comes a lady blowing her horn and forcing me back into my parking place. I did eventually get out.”
Not right
“So if a woman is charged with prostitution and the evidence comes from the man who paid her then why wasn’t he charged with soliciting? If I’m on the jury, she will go free or I will hang that jury.”
All about sports
“It’s sad that in our town the only way school kids can gain acknowledgement in the newspaper is with sports. We have lots of academically talented kids that win all kinds of awards, (ie – spelling bees, technology fair, etc…) but they are never recognized. Moultrie Observer needs to do better!”

“To Throwing Stones. It is not a hate military thing. It is simply respect. Respect for those who fought for what they believed in even if it was against us. It’s all about respecting the dead. Would you like someone to urinate on you after you’re dead? I don’t think so. It’s all about respect that is lost these days.”
The other foot
“Let’s see now. Old Newt chastized the news man for asking about his adultery. Yet I recall him go after Bill Clinton with guns a blazing and capitalized on every sound bite he could muster.”
I agree
“I agree with you on the cookie dough sales and yes $16 for a tub of cookie dough is way to much. The children get out to sell it and then are upset when they don’t. I think that the school should do something else to raise money besides that because it does get the kids hyped up to sell just so they can go on the limo ride. I think these kids that don’t sell any should get something for effort! Come on people these are our children our future.”
Suppressors
“M. Baker, what the heck are you hunting with an M16 rifle? it is not convenient for me to wear earplugs operating a loud machine 40 hrs a day, but it is a safety issue.”
One day maybe
“One day I would like to read: ‘The armed bandits were described as tall, wearing dark clothes and masks and still breathing as they were loaded into the ambulance. They were no longer brandishing semi-automatics and the money they had taken from the shopkeeper was recovered in full in the parking lot where the buckshot caught up with them.’”
