Elizabeth Young Tabor, 71, of Moultrie, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Unihealth Magnolia Manor South.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, at Kingwood Baptist Church with the Rev. David Curtis and the Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating. Burial will follow in Omega City Cemetery with Steve Jones, Buddy Allen, Bill Suber, Billy Thompson, James O’Kelley and Eugene Duncan serving as pallbearers.

Born Jan. 5, 1940, in Laurens County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Vance D. Young and Beulah Palmer Young. She retired from Riverside Mfg. after 31 years in quality control. She was a member of Kingwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Clifford Young and Dewey Young; and sisters, Rebecca Crosby and Louise Cole.

Survivors include her husband Leroy Tabor of Moultrie; brother, Johnny Young of Moultrie; sisters, Mary Barber of Moultrie and Gail Cole and husband Roy of Moultrie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Monday, July 18, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
