Men’s Day Program

Norman Grove Baptist Church will be holding its men’s day program at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 19. The speaker will be the Rev. Corey King of Thomasville. Church pastor is the Rev. Lamar Corbin.
VBS
Union Missionary Baptist Church, 103 Second St. N.W., is having its annual Vacation Bible School Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., nightly. This year’s theme is “Jesus to the Rescue.” There are classes for all ages, preschool through adult. To enrich their community outreach and awareness, they are incorporating special sessions on “emergency preparedness”; “facilitating positive sexuality dialogue” (by signed permission forms); “developing a vision for your future”; “ staying safe/saving a life”; and “making healthy decisions about bullying, drugs and gangs.” Community resources including the Moultrie Fire Department, Colquitt County Health Department, Moultrie Technical College, Colquitt County EMS and the Moultrie Police Department will be used for the sessions.
Community Day
Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church will have a Community Day on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food and games. This event is sponsored by the youth of the church. The Rev. J.W. Greene Jr. is pastor.
Fellowship/Community Revival

Grace Free Will Baptist, Reedy Creek Baptist and Evelyn Methodist Churches will host a fellowship/community revival Sunday, June 19, through Friday, June 23. On Sunday, it will be at Grace Free Will at 6 p.m.; on Monday, it will be at Grace Free Will at 7 p.m.; on Tuesday and Wednesday, it will be at Reedy Creek at 7 p.m.; on Thursday and Friday, it will be at Evelyn at 7 p.m.
Special Service
There will be a Special Service at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at the Moultrie Church of God of Prophecy, 1718 West Boulevard. Ezra International will present “The Final Exodus” with guest speaker, the Rev. Richard Wagner.
Annual Revival
The First African Missionary Baptist Church of Doerun will have its annual revival Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, 7 p.m. nightly. Various churches will be in charge of the service each night. The guest speaker for the week will be the Rev. Raymond Polite of Albany, Ga. It will close out at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, with the Rev. Karl Smith and the New Beulah Grove Baptist Church of Sylvester, Ga. The Rev. Willie Love is pastor.
