Carroll Odell Strange

Carroll Odell Strange, 66, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lake City, Fla.

No formal services are planned.

Born Aug. 29, 1944, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late William James Strange and Ruby Lillian Newton Strange. He was a graduate of Moultrie High School and served in the United States Army. He was a retired lineman with Verizon.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Tony Strange of Moultrie; one daughter, Sarah Strange of Grapevine, Texas; four sisters, Catherine Hiers and husband Bill, Frances Price and husband George and Nadine Buchanan and husband Frank, all of Moultrie and Becky Norman and husband Ron of Sarasota, Fla.; one brother, Thomas Strange and wife Janelle of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Tony Strange Jr., Kaitlin Strange and Leighton Taylor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
