The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office’s drug unit arrested three people Thursday afternoon and confiscated money and more than 20 pounds of marijuana believed to be imported from California.

Fernando Perez, Abigail Morales and Natasha Rodriguez were arrested at a residence at No. 9 Lorene Lane after law enforcement agents served a “no knock” search warrant, according to Maj. Ray Paulk, chief deputy for Sheriff Anthony Heath.

Agents said Rodriguez signed and accepted the package when it was delivered.

The three are charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. They are being held at the Berrien County jail.
