Walter and Paige Mitchell of Moultrie, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Jordyn Samantha, on Jan. 12, 2011. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Sarah Holt of Jacksonville, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tillman of Moultrie, Cynthia McCall of Moultrie and Walter Mitchell of Bowdon, Ga.

She is the great-granddaughter of Patricia McClain and the late Richard McClain of Moultrie, Jean Long and the late Robert Tillman Sr. of Moultrie, Shirley Mitchell and the late Henry Mitchell of Bowdon and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Wilson of Moultrie.

Her mother is the former Paige Tillman. She has a big brother, Jeff.

Hannah Denise Monts

Proud parents, Fred J. Monts and Tanya H. Monts, of Moultrie, would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Hannah Denise Monts, born nine weeks premature on Nov. 13, 2010, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga. She weighed 3 pounds, 11 ounces and was 17-1/4 inches long.

She spent one month and four days at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

She is the granddaughter of Linda Monts of Moultrie, the late Jessie Lee Butler, Sheryl and Clarence Anderson of Moultrie and Carl and Mary Holloway of Burlington, N.J.

She is the great-granddaughter of the late Nellie Monts, Ethel Holloway of Moultrie and the late Myra Middleton.

She is the great-great-granddaughter of the late Doris “Sally” Scott Taylor, affectionately known as “Granny.”

She is the sister of Kareem Monts of Sylvester, Ga., and Samuel Holloway, Quan Mathis, Alexis Mathis and Darius “DJ” Monts, all of Moultrie.

Brantley Wade Smith

Heather Nicole Moore and Richard Allen Smith Jr. of Moultrie are proud to announce the birth of their son, Brantley Wade Smith, on Feb. 14, 2011. He weighed 7 pounds, 11.7 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He is the grandson of Sandra Marie and Ricky Ray White of Sylvester, Ga., Ricky Dewayne Moore of Moultrie, Richard Allen Smith Sr. of Warwick, Ga., and Cheryl Donna and Troy Williams of Ty Ty, Ga.

He is the great-grandson of Homer Curtis and Margaret Moore of Moultrie, Shirley Mae Powers of Sylvester, Ga. and the late Willis Lyman Powers and Kathy and Robert Bob Huff. His step-great-grandparents are Aubrey and Ida Mavis White of Sylvester, Ga.

He is the nephew of Jason Dewayne Moore and Samantha Marie Bryan of Moultrie and the step-nephew of Tyler White and Ericka White of Sylvester, Ga.

Colton Whitney Key

Luke and Nicki Key of Norman Park are proud to announce the birth of their son, Colton Whitney, on Feb. 9, 2011. He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He is the grandson of Dave and Terri Underwood of Moultrie, Bobbie Key of Norman Park and Mickey Key of Moultrie. He is the great-grandson of Malcolm and Betty Moore of Mebane, N.C., Neil and Jeanette Key of Norman Park, and Parnell Ruark of Milledgeville, Ga.

He has a big sister, Abigail.

He is mother is the former Nicki Underwood.

Dr. and Mrs. Adam Jones of North Augusta, S.C., are proud to announce the birth of their son, Samuel Penn, on March 10, 2011. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 inches long.

He is the grandson of Tammy Livingston of Berlin and the late Joe Livingston and Monica Jones of Norman Park.

He is the great-grandson of Lazelle Sangster of Berlin.

He has a big brother, Ben and a big sister, Lydia.

His mother is the former Kayla Livingston.

She is the great-granddaughter of Toy Gray of Moultrie and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Harp Sr. of Whitesburg, Ga.

Her mother is the former Jennifer Caradine.
