The Tift County-Coffee game was the only Region 1-AAAAA contest on Friday with playoff implications.
Lowndes, which finished off its perfect regular season with a 35-14 victory over Warner Robins at McConnell-Talbert Stadium, had already claimed the region championship. The Vikings will be at Martin Stadium to face Luella, Region’s 2’s No. 4 team, this weekend.
Northside had already clinched the No. 2 spot in the region and finished strong by defeating Colquitt County 31-7 in Moultrie on Friday.
The Eagles, 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the region, will be at home this weekend to play host to Union Grove.
Warner Robins (3-4 in the region), Valdosta (2-5), Colquitt County (1-6) and Houston County (0-7) failed to make the playoffs.
