Staff Reports
Since the weather has been hot, the Joy Group decided to make short trips to have food and fellowship at different restaurants.
In April, they traveled to Moultrie for lunch at the Cedar River Seafood Restaurant. It seemed like each one who attended the enjoyed the seafood and some enjoyed seconds. After lunch, they turned over their place mats to find puzzles, games, and riddles on the back. It seemed like they were children again as they worked out the puzzles and riddles. Eleven members made the trip with Twila Bond as a guest.
In May, the group made a repeat trip to the Cedar River Seafood Restaurant. They were joined at the restaurant by Dean King and Dykes Smith.
In June, the group traveled to Camilla, Ga. for lunch at Debbie’s Restaurant. The buffet lunch was attended by ten members with three friends and neighbors, Carline Walker, Imogene Gay, and Francis Potts accompanying them as guests. The group invited them to join them again.
