COLUMBUS, GA. — Mary E. Neal Suber, 66, of Columbus, Ga., died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, in Columbus, Ga., with the Rev. Udell Addison officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus.

Born Aug. 23, 1941, in Telfair County, Mrs. Suber was the daughter of the late Philip Neal and the late Ruby Saunders Neal. She has lived in Columbus since 1980 and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Carson G. Suber of Columbus; her two children, Judith L. Jones and her husband Gregory and David Glenn Suber, all of Columbus, Ga.; and two brothers, Philip T. Neal and Jack Neal, both of Arkansas.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at the funeral home.

Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, in Columbus, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
