MOULTRIE — Three Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District III baseball events will be held at the Magnolia Sports Complex this month, with the first opening next Monday.

The 12-and-under boys B sub-District III tournament will start at 5:30 p.m. Monday with two Colquitt County teams entered.

The winner of the sub-District tournament will advance to a best-of-3 District III championship series against the North sub-District winner.

The championship series also will be held at the Magnolia Complex on June 23-24. The winner will advance to the state tournament.

The 14-and-under Boys B District tournament also will be held in Moultrie beginning on Saturday, June 21.

The Colquitt County all-stars will be one of seven teams in the tournament, with the winner advancing to the state tournament.

Two Colquitt County Farm League teams will compete in the District III machine pitch tournament that will begin June 23 in Cordele.

The Colquitt County 12-and-under A team will be coached by Joey Hathcock.

His players are Mack Hathcock, John Gray, Jonah Bozeman, Clayton Brown, Austin Mercer, Preston Berry, Daniel Mobley, Gabe Mobley, Andy Bush, Drew Penuel, Tony Simpson and Colby Reneker.

Bill Frazier’s B team includes Warren Funderburk, Ryan Chatman, Kyle Ashley, Hunter Kimble, Ryan Pipkin, Cole Bryant, Hart Sumner, Jim Waldrop, Tristan Frazier, Dalton Dillon, Nick Nichols, Wade Hawes and Austin Hunnicutt.

The 14-and-under all-star team, which will be coached by Robby Pitts, includes Dillon Presley, Aubrey McCarty, Corey Moore, Bryce Giddens, Daren Kent, Tyler Yost, Blake Bennett, Vann Pitts, Matt Creech, Zach Wheeler, Austin Dykes, Landon Rehberg an Meagan May.

The Farm A all-stars will be coached by Stephan Massey. The players are Houston Massey, Codi Noble, Kevin Hall, Kodi Bishop, Cody Mullis, Wesley Singletary, Joseph Gould, Demetrius Walker, Jaquon Blakely, Tenton Hall, Wheeler Hunnicutt, Tristan Wells and Anthony Bryant.

Don Price’s B all-stars include Savonta Slaughter, Buck Blalock, Clayton Brooks, Kevin Snyder, Logan Wheeler, Trey Clark, Austin McCord, Hayden Bledsoe, Austin Singletary, Chason Fannin, Griffin Simmons, Taylor Buckner and Noah Moore.
