Quality Employment still unbeaten in Pony League

MOULTRIE — Matt Creech had three hits, including a pair of home runs, to help keep Quality Employment’s Pony League record spotless with a 9-2 victory over Edwards Motors on Tuesday at the Magnolia Complex.

Vann Pitts was the winning pitcher and had two hits. Landon Rehburg also had two hits and Zac Wheeler hit a home run for Quality Employment, now 5-0.

Garrett Pearce had two hits for Edwards Motors, now 0-5.

In Tuesday’s other Pony League game, Ameris defeated Southwest Georgia Bank 13-9.

Winning pitcher Skyler Lindsey and Alex Littleton each had two hits, including a home run. Matt Gerald, Daryl Williamson and Andrew Eunice each had two hits for Ameris, now 5-1.

Meagan May and Tyler Yost each had three hits for Southwest Georgia Bank, 2-4.

In Tuesday’s Midget League schedule, Davis Insurance defeated Market Barbecue 7-3 behind the pitching of O’Shay Williams.

In the other Midget League game, Southwest Georgia Bank got its first win of the season, defeating Southwest Georgia Insurance 11-4.

Will Roberts was the winning pitcher for Southwest Georgia Bank, which got two hits each from Eric Gould and Andy Bush.

Christopher Bullard had two hits for Southwest Georgia Insurance, now 1-4.

In the battle between the last two undefeated Farm League teams, Lazarus defeated McAlpin Signs 14-5 on Tuesday.

Kevin Hall and Codi Noble each had three hits and Chason Fannin, Gabe Parker, Houston Massey and Zane Hogan each had two hits for Lazarus, still unbeaten at 6-0.

Geoffrey Zeigler, Noah Moore, Zack Goodwin and Aaron Johnson had two its for McAlpin Signs, now 5-1.

Wendy’s and Southwest Georgia Bank entered their Farm League game on Tuesday with identical records and came out with identical records after tying 4-4.

Chaz Smith had three hits and Jerome Hightower and Robert Clark each had two for Wendy’s.

Ryan Merritt and Drew Davis each had two for Southwest Georgia Bank.

Both teams are now 1-3-1.

Tyler Pifer had three inside-the-park home runs to lead Rocky’s to a 16-9 victory over Zaxby’s in a Tuesday Farm League game.

Morgan Hart and Gavin Phillips also had three hits and Kodi Bishop, Anthony Bryant and Brandon Robinson each had two for Rocky’s, now 4-1.

Cole Nix, Jacob Plymel and Hayden Bledsoe each had two for Zaxby’s, now 0-5.

In the other Farm League game on Tuesday, Custom Cabinets defeated Random Design 12-9.

Jared Soyke, Joseph Gould, Kevin Snyder, Kyle Duke, Clayton Brooks and Taylor Buckner each had two hits for Custom Cabinets, now 3-2.

Jacob Coots, Tristan Wells, Austin McCord and Arden Hall each had two for Random Design, also 3-2.

In Tiny Mites, Southwest Georgia Bank defeated MPrints 6-4 and Larry’s Bait and Tackle won over Stone’s 13-8.
