MOULTRIE — Moss Farms diver Ryan Helms finished third on 3-meter springboard in the boys 16-18 age group at the Junior Pan American Diving Championships being held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The event was won by Helms’ USA teammate Drew Livingston, from The Woodlands, Texas, who scored a 582.65.

Jonathan Ruvalcaba of Mexico was second witha 566.30

Helms had a 542.25.

Divers from the U.S., Mexico, Brazil and Canada are competing in three age groups in the competition.

Helms and Harrison Jones will represent the U.S. in the 1-meter competition set to began at 2:45 p.m. today.
