ADEL — Margaret Ellen Pafford, 76, of Adel died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Antioch United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery.

Born Jan. 10, 1931 in Cook County, she was the daughter of the late Carlie Pafford and Lola Crosby Pafford. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Eudora Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Randall Godwin of Adel; a son, Durrand Godwin and wife Cynthia of Adel; three daughters, Wanda Sellers and husband R.J. of Moultrie, Karen Stalvey and husband Dwight of McDonough, Ga. and Sherry Brady and husband Richard of Nashville, Ga.; a sister, Laquetta Cason and husband Howard of Albany, Ga.; a brother-in-law, James Phillips of Fitzgerald, Ga.; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today, Sept. 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home, Hwy. 41 South.
