Lady Pack gets win in Macon

MACON—Colquitt County’s Lady Packers basketball team defeated Meadowcreek 61-39 in the Great Southern Shootout at Westside-Macon High School.
The Lady Packers rebounded from Thursday’s 72-38 loss to Montgomery Alabama’s Carver High.
The victory stopped a three-game skid by Colquitt.
Nikki Hudson led the scoring for Lady Packers with 17 points. She was followed by Taquella Coates who had 13.
Nichole Thomas added 10 points, and Ashley Patillo had 11 rebounds.
The Lady Packers, now 10-3 overall, return to Macon for a final game in the tournament at 1:30 p.m.
Colquitt’s next court appearance will be at 7 p.m. next Thursday in the first round of the Packer Roundball Classic at Espy Gymnasium.
