T.C. Hughes
NASHVILLE, Ga. — T.C. Hughes, 85, of Nashville, Ga. died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., today, Dec. 19 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Vernon Hughes and Andy Cashwell officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Born March 23, 1921 in Berrien County, he was the son of the late Delia Taylor and Walt Hughes. He was a retired farmer and he also retired from Nashville Mills. He was a United States Army veteran of W.W.II and a member of the Nashville Post V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife Louise Howell Hughes of Nashville, Ga.; two daughters, Mary Nell Truett of Moultrie and Luenett McSwain of Covington, Ga.; a son, Terry Hughes of Valdosta; two sisters, Irene Rowe of Nashville, Ga. and Polly Lewis of Lake Park, Ga.; a brother, W.E. Hughes of Nashville, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Janet Gay, Teresa Beall, Paul Truett, Jr., Darrell Truett, Matt Hughes, Alexis Hughes, Sean McSwain and Lisa McSwain; and two great-grandchildren, Justin Gay and Railey Hughes.

Donnia Millsap Ague
MOULTRIE — Donnia Millsap Ague, 66, of Moultrie died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., today, Dec. 19 at Schley Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Plymel officiating. Burial will follow in Schley Cemetery with Dan Farmer, Glen Flanagan, Robert Perkins, Brad Bentley, Harvey Wilson and Brandon Plymel serving as pallbearers.
Born Dec. 11, 1940 in Ft. Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Becky Millsap and Alex Millsap. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Delena Kamideger and a brother.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Fulkerson and husband Rickey, Evelyn Flanagan and husband Glen, Pamela Murray, and Suzette Farmer and husband Dan, all of Ft. Worth, Texas; four brothers; a sister; a special friend, Diane Nipper; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, Dec. 19 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

MOULTRIE — Z.L. Dixon, 76, of Moultrie died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at Sunrise Nursing Home.

James Howard Gore
BAXLEY, Ga. — James Howard Gore, 77, of Baxley, Ga. died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at St. Joseph’s-Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Revs. David Rogers and Earl Dean McCorvey officiating. Burial will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with James Michael Gore Jr., Kyle Malcolm Gore, Jacob Howard Gore, Leo James Blum, Garrison James Spearman, Coleman Parker McLeod, Thomas L. Graham Jr. and Pat Carter serving as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will be Danny Williamson, Dewey Shiver, Joe Williams, Ronald Reagan, Bill Cobb and Joey Doubrly.
Born July 29, 1929 in Webster County, Miss., he was the son of the late Euncie Justice Gore Bowen and James Austin Gore. He worked in quality control with Georgia Pacific and was the owner of BAB Fly Jig Company. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of W.W.II and a member of East Side Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Gore.
Survivors include his wife Helen Parker Gore of Baxley, Ga.; sons, James Michael Gore and wife Deborah of Oakland, Tenn. and Malcolm S. Gore and wife Diane of Bonair, Ga.; daughters, Angela Elaine Blum of Sarasota, Fla., Bennie Helen Spearman of St. Simon’s Island, Ga. and Joy Marie McLeod and husband Michael of Baxley, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight, Dec. 19 from 6 to 8 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

COLUMBUS, Ga. — Emma Rean Williams, 89, of Moultrie died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at the Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ga.

Wilna Herndon Demott Rodgers
MOULTRIE — Wilna Herndon Demott Rodgers, 80, of Moultrie died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Chapel Hill Vineyard with the Rev. J.E. Moak officiating.
Born Oct. 1, 1926 in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Whitfield Herndon and John A. Herndon. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Ralph Rodgers Sr.
Survivors include sons, Lanny Demott and wife Cissie of Moultrie, Ricky Demott and wife Beverly of Thomasville and George Demott of Moultrie; a daughter, Cindy Demott of Moultrie; step-children, W. Ralph Rodgers Jr. and wife Kay of Albany, Ga. and Lee Rodgers Ard and husband Sam of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Alice H. Sampson of Moultrie; seven grandchildren, Berri Tatum, Kurt Demott, Church Demott, Jamie Demott, Nick Demott, Trey Eakins and Kim Braswell; 17 great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the Vineyard.

Joe Conner Weldon
MOULTRIE — Joe Conner Weldon, 76, of Moultrie died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at Brownwood Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., today, Dec. 19 at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Barrett officiating.
Born May 24, 1932 in Wilcox County, Ga., he was the son of the late Leila Jane Conner and Addis Bernard Weldon. He was retired from Wells Aluminum and was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served for six years, and the United States Air Force, where he served six years.
He was preceded in death by brothers, George Willie and Delmer Weldon; and a sister, Ruby Weldon Cook.
Survivors include his wife Betty Joyce Weldon of Moultrie; daughters, Lalana Henderson and husband Shane of Moultrie, Latricia Sue Ivey and husband Mike of San Antonio, Texas and Cindy Todd of Moultrie; grandchildren, Autumn Henderson, Kerra Jane Henderson, Isaiah Henderson, Shena Todd, Levi Todd, Christy Weldon, Josh Weldon and Brandi Tankersly; and one great-grandchild, Jayden Mims.
