Winnie Herndon Suber

COOLIDGE — Winnie Herndon Suber, 95, of 683 Suber Road, Coolidge, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Coolidge Baptist Church with burial at Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Moultrie. The Rev. James Pelham and the Rev. Mike Keown will officiate. Casketbearers will be Dave and Steve Clark, Paul and Mark Elliott, David Herndon and Tommy Wagner.

Mrs. Suber was born Oct. 10, 1911, in Colquitt County to the late Henry Mitchell Herndon and Edgie Hamrick Herndon. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Coolidge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Presley Suber; two brothers, J.D. Herndon and Coy Herndon; two sisters, Gladys Clark and Lois Simpson.

Survivors include a son, Mitchell Suber and wife Gayle of Coolidge; one daughter, Elaine Durham of Moultrie; four grandchildren, David Durham and wife Lisa, Lisa Carr and husband Gregg, Theresa Thomas and husband Bob and Michael Suber and wife Alanna; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.
