Lois Chapman Perry
MOULTRIE — Lois Chapman Perry, 96, of Moultrie died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, and the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, both at Harrell Faircloth Funeral Home Chapel.
Harrell Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Irene Walden McFadden
MOULTRIE — Irene Walden McFadden, 76, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at her residence, 804 First Ave. S.W. in Moultrie.
Luke Strong and Son Mortuary Ltd. is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mamie P. Hayes
BRISTOL, Pa. — Mamie P. Hayes, 65, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, in Bristol, Pa., at the Silver Lake Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at Norton Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol.
Mrs. Hayes was born May 26, 1941.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Carrie Lee Sikes of Moultrie; one sister, Shirley Holloway of Stone Mountain; one brother, Dan Sikes of Atlanta; one son and grandson, John Hayes and Brandon Hayes, both of Bristol.
Survivors include her husband, John C. Hayes of Bristol; three daughters, Desiree’ Sikes of Tifton, Renee Hayes-Thomas and husband Leon of Moultrie, and Pamela Hayes of Trenton, N.J.; two sons, Mark Hayes and Deon Hayes and wife Kelly Hayes of Croydon, Pa.; three sisters, Alene Bolden of Santa Clara, Calif., Mary Lambert and Anne Wiley, both of Bristol.
Molden Funeral Home of Bristol and Luke Strong and Son Mortuary of Moultrie are in charge of arrangements.
Willis J. Pope
CAMILLA — Willis J. Pope, 82, of 50 Bailey Drive in Camilla, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Hager officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Pope, Hort Williams, Trey Williams, Jason Lewis, Jim Morrell, Caleb Morrell, Walt Culberson and John Spence.
Born Jan. 2, 1924, in Colquitt County, Mr. Pope was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and poultry distributor. Mr. Pope was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was the son of the late Wilburn L. and Cynthia Strickland Pope.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Culberson.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Pope of Camilla; a daughter, Barbara Harrison and husband Kevin of Camilla; a son, Steve Pope and wife Denise of Moultrie; a son-in-law, Paul Culberson of Cordele; a brother, Hoyt Pope of Irwinville; three sisters, Pauline Gay, Montine Gay and Wilma Griner, all of Moultrie; seven grandchildren, Jill Williams, Lynne Morrell, Jason Lewis, Ryan Pope, Karie Spence, Walt Culberson and Kathy Culberson; and 11 great-grandchildren, Trey Williams, Ashley Williams, Marlie Williams, Whitney Morrell, Caleb Morrell, Laken Lewis, Londan Lewis, Jace Lewis, Avery Spence, Grayson Spence and Emma Culberson.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.
