MOULTRIE — Five divisions have been completed in the annual City Tennis Tournament for Youth sponsored by the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department being held at the Jim Buck Goff Recreation Complex.

Singles winners have been Carli Hester, Buck Blalock and Conley Ward.

The teams of Will Bannister and Andrew Harvin and Avery Castellow and Constance Terrell have won doubles titles.

The double-elimination tournament, which will last through the week, has drawn 27 players.

In the 8 boys division, Blalock defeated Jud Jones 8-0 in the first round and 8-1 in the finals to win the title.

In 10 girls singles, Ward defeated Courtney Terrell 8-2 in the first round and 8-1 in the finals.

In 10 boys, John Buck Eunice defeated Morgan Hart 8-2 in a first-round match. In the second round, Cody Jenkins won over Eunice 8-1.

Andrew Harvin defeated Paul Leonard 8-0 and Coby King won over Will Bannister 8-3 in a pair of 12 boys first-round matches.

Harvin won over King 8-5 in a second-round match. In a consolation round match, it was Bannister over Leonard 8-5.

In 14 girls singles, Laura Hill Bannister won her first-round match over Rachel Funderburk 8-6. Constance Terrell won over Avery Castellow 8-1, also in a first-round match.

In the second round, Terrell won over Bannister 8-0.

In the consolation round, Funderburk defeated Castellow 8-6.

In first-round 14 boys singles action, Blake Jenkins defeated Christian Edwards 8-1, Ryan Sherling won over Jacob Tompkins 9-8(7-1) and Brandon Oaks defeated Kyle Tolbert 8-6.

In the second round, Jenkins won over Sherling 8-4 and Bo Blalock defeated Oaks 8-5.

In the third round, Jenkins won over Blalock 8-4.

In consolation matches, Tompkins won over Edwards 8-3, Sherling defeated Tolbert 8-6 and Tompkins won over Oaks 8-2.

Carli Hester won both of her matches to win the 16 girls singles title, defeating Kayla Kelley 8-1 and 6-3, 6-4.

In 16 boys singles, Zach Clifton won his first-round match over Morgan Castellow 9-7. In the second round, Christopher Harvin defeated Clifton 8-3.

In 12 boys doubles, the team of Will Bannister and Andrew Harvin won its first-round match over Paul Leonard and Coby King 8-0 and defeated Leonard and King 7-5, 6-3 to win the division championship.

In 14 girls doubles, Avery Castellow and Constance Terrell defeated Laura Hill Bannister and Rachel Funderburk 8-1 in a first-round match, then defeated Bannister and Funderburk 9-8(7-4) for the championship.

In the first round of 14 boys doubles play, Brandon Oaks and Kyle Tolbert won over Ryan Sherling 8-4.

In the second round, Oaks and Tolbert defeated Jacob Tompkins and Blake Jenkins 8-4.

In a first-round 15-18 mixed doubles match, Zach Clifton and Carli Hester defeated Christopher Harvin and Kayla Kelley 8-3.
