O.A. Lott Jr.
MEIGS — O.A. Lott Jr., 60, of Meigs died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Harrell and the Rev. Tom Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Nephews of Mr. Lott — Ben Walker, Phillip Smith, Tom Morris, Tim Morris, Kyle Batten, Mark Lott and Ricky Lott — will serve as casketbearers. His brother and brothers-in-law will serve as honorary casketbearers.
Born Jan. 31, 1946, in Coffee County, Mr. Lott was the son of the late Vera Vickers Lott and the late Oliver A. Lott Sr. He was the meat market manager at Piggly Wiggly and the owner of Lott Lawn Care. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Lott; and a sister, Margaret Gaskins.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Harrell Lott of Meigs; three sons, Keith Lott of Columbus, Ga., Tom Wright of Greenville, Miss., and Anthony Wright of Atlanta; a daughter, Kristi Wadsworth of Dothan, Ala.; a brother, Danny Lot of Ambrose; four sisters, Eunice Morris of Pearson, Sandra Batten of Ambrose and Claryce Batten and Connie Carver, both of Douglas; and six grandchildren, Erin Lott, Austin Lott and Hannah Grace Lott, all of Columbus, Ga., and Megan Lott, Mallory Lott and McKenzie Lott, all of Dothan, Ala.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Marjorie T. Colquitt
COLUMBUS, Ga. — Marjorie T. Colquitt, 79, of Columbus, Ga., formerly of Colquitt County, died Monday, July 3, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, in Columbus with the Rev. Kevin Calhoun officiating.
Born March 9, 1927, in Terrell County, Mrs. Colquitt was the daughter of the late Cecil Cuthbert Turner and the late Alene Lowery Turner. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Columbus. She was a member of Hilton Terrace Baptist Church in Columbus and the Agape Sunday School class.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Colquitt of Columbus, Ga.; a daughter, Linda Woodall and husband James of Columbus, Ga.; a son, Stan Colquitt and wife Coty of Wilmington, Del.; two sisters, Mary Nevels and Frances Almand, both of Moultrie; four grandchildren, Kris Colquitt, Amanda Johns, James C. Woodall Jr. and Neil Woodall; and three great-grandchildren, Alex Johns, Amber Johns and Michael Woodall.
Memorials may be made to Hilton Terrace Baptist Church in Columbus or a favorite charity.

MOULTRIE — Faye Hart, 72, of Moultrie died Friday, July 7, 2006, at her residence.
