Bryan V. Clark
SMYRNA — Bryan V. Clark, 47, of Smyrna, formerly of Moultrie, died May 19, 2006.
Mr. Clark was born in Moultrie, where he graduated from high school. He then graduated from Oglethorpe University and was a residential developer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lucille Clark of Moultrie and by a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Torie McCollum Clark of Smyrna; children, Caroline Clark and Harrison Clark, both of Athens; brothers, Alan Clark of Florida and Steven Clark and Dave Clark, both of Moultrie.
The service for Mr. Clark will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, in the funeral home chapel.
Contributions may be made to the Colon Cancer Alliance, 1440 Coral Ridge Drive, Suite 386, Coral Springs, FL 33071 or to the Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation in memory of Mr. Clark.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell/Alpharetta.
Northside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Coleman Thomason
DOERUN — Coleman Thomason, 79, of Doerun died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. today, May 21, at Union Cemetery in Doerun with the Rev. Roy Hicks officiating. Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside.
Born Dec. 26, 1926, in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Ruth Cody Thomason and the late Bert F. Thomason. He was retired from the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Thomason, and a sister, Laverne Hiers.
Survivors include a brother, Freeman Thomason of Doerun; sisters, Lucy Meredth of Moultrie, Nell Barnett and husband Bill of Perry, Fla., and Pat Dykes of Moultrie; an aunt, Pauline Holt of Doerun; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal visitation.
Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
