FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Richard Eugene Yates Jr., 64, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, Fayetteville, N.C.
Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas Albert Goode
MOULTRIE — Thomas Albert Goode, 68, of Bob Hiers Road, Moultrie, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with burial at Hempstead Cemetery. The Rev. Lester Glass and the Rev. Joey Harris will officiate. Casketbearers will be Brian Bynum, Wayne Folsom, Robert Hires and Gary Folsom.
Mr. Goode was born Aug. 14, 1937, in Clearlake, Skagit County, Wash., son of Florence Esther Dye Goode and the late Edward E. Goode. He was a retired supervisor with the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was an Air Force veteran and a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Hires Goode of Moultrie; his mother, Florence Esther Dye Goode of Charlotte, Wash.; one son, Thomas Clay Goode and wife Katherine of Moultrie; one daughter, Lola Gail Goode of Moultrie; one brother, Norman E. Goode of Washington state; one sister, Judy Goode of Washington state; two grandchildren, Shane Tillman and wife Manda and Tonya Tillman Bynum and husband William Brian Bynum, all of Moultrie; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan Brian Bynum, William Justin Bynum and Abby Gail Bynum.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cindy Goode and Betty Goode.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Master Sgt. Ronald R. Suber
FORT RILEY, Kan. — Master Sgt. Ronald R. Suber, 41, of Fort Riley, Kan., died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. in Columbus, Ga., with Chaplain Capt. Eddie Kinley officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Fort Benning Main Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, Ga. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Born Oct. 20, 1964, in Pavo, Ga., Master Sgt. Suber was the son of Tommy R. Suber and Hazel Delain Suber. He graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 1982 and joined the U.S. Army in 1985. He married Cheryl Bishop on Dec. 23, 1985. During his military career, he served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Desert Storm, Egypt and Haiti, and he had been stationed in Germany, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Korea, Georgia and Kansas. He had received numerous medals and commendations and was currently serving in the military police.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Cheryl B. Suber of Fort Riley, Kan.; two daughters, Ashley B. Suber of Fort Polk, La., and Alicia R. Suber of Fort Riley, Kan.; his parents, Tommy and Hazel Suber of Pavo; his grandmother, Ruth Perry of Moultrie; two sisters, Brenda Elkins and husband Terry of Cairo and Michele Suber of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada; and two nieces, Joanie Suber and Amber Suber.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver Suber and Walter Suber.
