Wydelle White Goss
MOULTRIE — Wydelle White Goss, 92, of Moultrie died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ron Shiver officiating. Interment was at Funston Cemetery. Randy E. Bates, Garrett Boyd, Lane Goss, Euford Littleton, Ralph Underwood and Ry Bates served as casketbearers.
Born Feb. 5, 1914, in Gordon County, Mrs. Goss was the daughter of the late Nannie Rogers White and the late Charlie Lester White. She was a retired seamstress from Warners and was a member of Funston Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Goss; a son, Jerry Clayton Goss; a brother, J.L. White; a sister, Ruby Lindsey; and a granddaughter, Marla Bates.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Goss and wife Janice of Moultrie and Jimmy Goss and wife Faye of St. Mary’s; a daughter, LaRhue G. Bates and husband Raymond of Moultrie; five grandchildren, Lane Goss, Krista Boyd, Randy E. Bates, DeNa McKenna and Wendy Goss; and nine great-grandchildren, Andrew McKenna, Matthew McKenna, Lindsey Goss, Matthew Goss, Kristina Tucker, Garrett Boyd, Ry Bates, Brandie Crosby and Griffin Bates.
Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
