MOULTRIE — Three Moss Farms divers qualified for the East Champion-ships on Saturday and Kelsey Goodman and Ali Lepech left little doubt that they belong.

Goodman placed first and Lepech was second in the 14-15 girls 1-meter event at the Region 7 Spring Championships being held in Islamorada, Fla.

Elizabeth Ann Kirkland also qualified for the East Championships in the 11-and-under girls 3-meter competition.

The top six divers in each Region event will advance to the East Championships, to be held April 28-30 in Boston, Mass.

Six other Moss Farms divers — Ann Perry Blank, Jillian Braun, Anna Aguero, Ryan Helms, Owen Blank and Leah Piemonte — have already qualified at a Region meet in Middletown, Conn.

Goodman scored a 304.80 to take first place in the girls 14-15 1-meter event with Moss Farms teammate Lepech right behind with a 280.30.

Kirkland qualified with her fifth-place finish in the 11-and-under girls 3-meter event.

None of the three Moss Farms divers entered 16-18 girls 3-meter event — Staci Howard, Maddie Qurnell and Erin Goodman — qualified on Saturday.

Audrey White, in the 11-and-under girls 3-meter, and Jacob Russell, in the 16-18 boys 3-meter, also failed to qualify on Saturday.

Today, Kirkland and White will compete in the 11-and-under girls 1-meter; Kelsey Goodman and Lepech in the 14-15 girls 3-meter; Howard, Qurnell and Erin Goodman in the 16-18 girls 1-meter; and Russell in the 16-18 boys 1-meter.

Today is the final day of the Region competition in Islamorada.
