Sara P. Wilson
ALBANY — Sara P. Wilson, 69, of Moultrie, died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Sylvester Health Care in Sylvester.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at the Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors Chapel in Tifton with the Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Eric Causey, Tommy Sexton, Craig Seymour, Jeff Seymour, Randy Hall and Josh Hall will serve as pallbearers.
Born March 10, 1937, in Stewart County, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Alwyn Leslie Perryman and the late Sallie Wylene Hancock Perryman. She was the former owner of a washateria in LaGrange and had worked at the Alpine Restaurant in Tifton. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Norman Park, and she enjoyed flowers, gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include a son, Michael E. Varnadoe and wife Amy of Benbrook, Texas; a daughter, Michelle V. Lawson and husband David L. of Worth County; a brother, Buddy Perryman of Tifton; three sisters, Ruth Hall of Moultrie, Mary Anne Seymour of Ty Ty and Janie Hudson of Worth County; two grandchildren, Michael R. Varnadoe of Benbrook, Texas and Clayton Lawson of Worth County; and many nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA, 30080.
