Carol Ann McDaniel Ranne
NORMAN PARK — Carol Ann McDaniel Ranne, 60, of 4070 Cool Springs Road in Norman Park, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at Magnolia Manor South Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Saunders Pinckard will officiate.
Mrs. Ranne was born Oct. 15, 1945, in Silsbee, Texas, the daughter of William Porter McDaniel and Ida Maxine Eckert Thomson. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Louis Ranne; two sons, Louis Porter Ranne of Fitzgerald and Michael Dale Ranne and wife Diane of Valdosta; one daughter, Debra Jeanette Fudge and husband Robert of Tifton; one sister, Joyce Cravey and husband Sidney of Texas; and two grandchildren, Patrick Dewayne Ranne and Thomas McDaniel Dean.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday before the service.

Mildred Watson Inman
MOULTRIE — Mildred Watson Inman, 74, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Cabaniss officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Worth County. Kyle Inman, Wayne Grandy, Shawn Rapeano, Junior Watson, Mark Inman and Rob Cummings will serve as casketbearers.
Born Dec. 4, 1931, in Crisp County, Mrs. Inman was the daughter of the late Julia Barfield Watson and the late Tebe Watson. She was a retired accountant with the City of Apopka, Fla., and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Obie Inman.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Inman of Orlando, Fla., and Michael Brogan of Winter Park, Fla.; a daughter, Julie Inman of Moultrie; two brothers, Haskell Watson of Moultrie and Thurston Watson of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Geneva Lutsky of Moultrie; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at the funeral home.

Richard “Dick” Fetterman
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Richard “Dick” Fetterman, 81, died Feb. 23, 2006, at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines, Iowa.
He was born on Feb. 3, 1925, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Mable and William Fetterman and had lived in Moultrie, Ga.; Marshalltown, Iowa; and — since 1994 — West Des Moines.
Immediately following graduation from high school he volunteered for service with the U.S. Navy. During World War II he served aboard the USS Nehenta Bay. He received medal recognition for his service in the American and Asiatic-Pacific campaigns.
He was an avid golfer who carried a great love for the game throughout his life. He enjoyed above all things peaceful time in prayer and being with his family. A beloved husband, father and grandfather he will be remembered for his willingness to sacrifice for others, his family said.
He was a superintendent with the Swift Company until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed yearly reunions with his shipmates.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1627 Grand Ave., West Des Moines, Iowa, and burial with military rites will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
He will be missed by his wife, Elisabeth “Bette” Fetterman, whom he married on June 23, 1953; two sons, Richard (Donna) Fetterman of Moultrie and Gregory (Rachel) Fetterman of Lincoln, Neb.; two daughters, Joan (Mike) McGovern of Bothel, Wash., and Susan (Alan) Druckemiller of Des Moines, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Christopher and Ann Fetterman, Michael, Andrew and Thomas McGovern, and Scott, Kate, Theresa and Matthew Fetterman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where a Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Seminarian Education Fund or Sacred Heart Catholic School Scholarship Fund.

Jackie Belinda Peacock Pope
MOULTRIE — Jackie Belinda Peacock Pope, 56, of Moultrie died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Dee officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Mickey Rhodes, Jerry Hicks, Carl Rhodes, Shane Wile, Johnny Peacock and Buddy Peacock will serve as casketbearers.
Born Nov. 8, 1949, in Brooks County, Ms. Pope was the daughter of the late Mattie Sue Gibson Peacock and the late John Henry Peacock. She was a retired waitress and server for Shoney’s and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Lamar Peacock and Robert Edward Peacock; and a brother-in-law, A.J. Ricks.
Survivors include two sons, Clem Newton of Florida and David Pope and wife Tori of Moultrie; two daughters, Misty Pope of Moultrie and Jo Ann Warner of Florida; a brother, Jimmy Peacock and wife Virginia of Moultrie; two sisters, Janie Rhodes and husband Charlie and Virginia Ricks, all of Moultrie; and six grandchildren, Kari Warren, Kayla Warner, Savanna Warner, Brandy Warner, Joshua Pope and Katelyn Pope.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the funeral home.
