11 persons arrested over weekend

MOULTRIE — At least 11 people were arrested by Moultrie and Colquitt County authorities over the weekend on a wide assortment of charges. They included:

• Alfredo Vasquez, 35, of Moultrie, was charged Friday with theft by shoplifting.

• Brenda Spradley, 29, of 1330 Highway 319 N., Lot 108, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct (family violence).

• Tammy Lynn Stanfill, 37, of 182 Horseshoe Drive, was charged Friday with aggravated stalking.

• Adrian Molden, 21, of 255 Demott Subdivision Drive, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct (family violence).

• Ricky Tyran Hill, 20, of 1521 Ninth St. S.W., was charged Saturday with driving without a license and making an improper lane change.

• Robert Demon Office, 22, of 2511 Sylvester Drive, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license (third offense), DUI (second offense), failure to maintain lane and no proof of insurance. The charges stem from an accident Sunday morning when Office drove his Pontiac Bonneville off of Seventh Avenue Southwest and hit a guidepost. The guidepost and wires fell onto Seventh Avenue Southwest and blocked the roadway.

• William James Stevens III, 53, of 2514 Briarwood Drive in Albany, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and speeding.

• Maurice Andre Harris, 29, of 215 North Pine St. in Adel, was charged Saturday with deposit account fraud.

• Jorge Herera Monzon, 23, of 167 Scott Cemetery Road, was charged Sunday with driving without a license and tail lens required.

• Roy Webster Snipes, 42, of 712 Highway 319 N., was charged Saturday with DUI, aggressive driving and driving with a suspended license.

• James Davis Wright, 44, of 2510 Geranium Road, was charged Saturday with criminal trespassing.



Other Incidents:

• Kenneth Dean, of 31st Avenue Southeast, reported an unknown person poured sugar into the gas tank of his Toyota Corolla between noon Friday and 8:25 p.m. Sunday. Damage to the vehicle was unknown at the time of report. Dean provided officers with the name of a female acquaintance he suspects poured sugar into the gas tank.

• Marie Williams, of West Central Avenue, reported a male relative stole her Georgia EPPICard Mastercard and withdrew the remaining $45 balance between 8 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sunday. When asked about the card, the male relative returned the card to Williams and her husband.

• Shiquita Slaughter, of South Veterans Parkway, reported an unknown person kicked in the door to her residence, breaking the door jam and dead bolt striker, Sunday. Damage to the door was estimated at $100.

• David Stewart, of Fifth Street Southeast, reported a female acquaintance stole $150 cash from his pants pocket between 11 p.m. Friday and 12:45 p.m. Saturday. No other items were stolen at the time of report.

• Robert Gibson, of 27th Street Southeast, reported an unknown person stole his wallet, containing an EBT card, his driver’s license, a food stamp card and $100 cash, from his residence between 6 p.m. Friday and 12:46 a.m. Saturday. The total value of the stolen items was $110.

• Trenekia Williams, of Ninth Street Southeast, reported an unknown person broke out a window to her residence and stole a box full of clothes, 14 pairs of Nike Airforce One shoes and three pairs of Nike Air Jordan shoes between 10 a.m. Thursday and 6:43 p.m. Friday. Damage to the window and the total value of the stolen items was estimated at $2,290.

• Hornsby Jenkins, of South Main Street, reported an unknown person kicked in the side door to his residence and stole a Dell computer with modem, two Microsoft X-box game systems with four controllers, seven X-box games, a Winchester 12-gauge pump shotgun, a Mossberg 12-gauge pump shotgun, a Remington 12-gauge shotgun, a Glenfield .22-caliber semi-automatic rifle, a Firearm International 7mm rifle and a JVC camcorder between 8 a.m. and 3:03 p.m. Friday. Damage to the door and the total value of the stolen items was estimated at $2,580.

• Latora Marshall and Thomas King Jr., of Sam Sells Road, reported an unknown person keyed and spray painted on the exterior of their Honda, poured paint onto the front and rear seats, broke out the driver and passenger windows, cut all four tires and stole three Kicker 12-inch speakers, two Boss 1,000-watt amplifiers and a CD player radio between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday. The total value of the stolen items was $960, but total damage to the vehicle was unknown at the time of report.

• Jorge Garcia, of Circle Road, reported a male acquaintance hit him in the head with a glass bottle several times and stole his wallet Sunday. Garcia was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center with lacerations to his head.
