Lepech places fourth in Montreal

MOULTRIE — Moss Farms Diving’s Ali Lepech finished seventh in the 1-meter preliminaries at the International CAMO Invitational being held this weekend in Montreal, Canada, but came on in Saturday’s finals to place fourth.
The finish tied her for the best performance by a Moss Farm so far in the meet.
Ann Perry Blank finished fourth in the 1-meter competition in her age group on Friday.
The girls B 1-meter finals on Saturday was won by Frederique Hebert of CAMO, the host team, with a 310.15. Lepech scored a 297.45.
Lepech also finished seventh in the platform event and eighth on the 3-meter board in the competition, which has drawn some 200 of the world’s top young divers to the Claude Robillard Center in Montreal.
Two other Moss Farms divers improved their scores in the finals of 1-meter event.
Kelsey Goodman was ninth after the prelims, but finished seventh with a 295.05.
Goodman also has a sixth-place finish on the 3-meter board.
And Anna Aguero, who was 11th after the preliminary round, turned in a 10th place finish with a 276.15.
Aguero finished ninth in the 3-meter and platform events.
Hannah Moore place fifth in the girls A division platform event held Saturday, scoring a 351.20.
The event was won by Lacey Truelove with a 383.60, who was fourth after the preliminary round.
Moore was consistent, coming in fifth in the prelims with 346.90
Competition will end today.
