MOULTRIE — Tony Lee Jarvis, 36, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clay Kendrall officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
Born in Colquitt County, Mr. Jarvis was the son of Eva Aline McCall Jarvis and the late Vester Jarvis.
Survivors include a special friend, Tonya K. Livingston of Moultrie; his mother, Eva Aline McCall Jarvis of Ringgold; sons, Tony Lee Jarvis II and Chad Xavier Jarvis of Adel; daughter, Ashley Nicole Livingston of Moultrie; a brother, James Vester Jarvis of Ringgold; and sisters, Virginia A. Holmes of Ringgold, Becky Vaughn of Bona Vista, and Tina L. Jarvis of Decatur, Ill.
Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Howard Marshal Womack
MOULTRIE — Howard Marshal Womack, 61, of Moultrie, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, at Funston Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Shiver officiating. Burial will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with military honors. Pallbearers will be Lance Womack, Corey Womack, Scott Whiddon, Cecil Rentz, Steve Godwin and Larry Arrington.
Born July 3, 1940, in Berrien County, Mr. Womack was the son of the late Effie Ophelia Brand Womack and James Howard Womack. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy, he was a Bronze Star recipient. He was an HVAC specialist and electrician for the Colquitt County Board of Education. Mr. Womack was a Mason, a member Eastern Star and a member of Funston Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sherryl Weathers Womack of Moultrie; sons, Gene Womack and wife Laura of Charleston, S.C., and Shane Womack and wife Janene of Moultrie; daughters, Teresa Whiddon of Warwick, Tracy Vestal and husband Charles of Kansas City, Mo., and Carlise Womack of Moultrie; sisters, Mittie Deas and Peggy Alderman both of Jennings, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren, Shanele Branton, Lance Womack, Corey Womack, Reese Womack, David Marshal Womack, Stephanie Whiddon, Scott Whiddon, Kara Vestal, Micky Vestal and Jordy Vestal.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

James G. Black
NORMAN PARK — James G. Black, 72, of Norman Park, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at The Woodlands at Cobblestone.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 13, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jimmy Voyles will officiate.
Born Nov. 17, 1928, in New Carlisle, Ind., Mr. Black was the son of the late Florence Verna Black and Gordon Arthur Black. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was an electronic engineer. He was a member of VFW Post 4830 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Norman Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Norman Black.
Survivors include a brother, Robert G. Black of LaFayette, Calif.; nephews, John L. Norman of Norman Park and Hugh Norman of Moultrie; and a great-niece, Anne Avery Norman of Norman Park.
Memorials may be made to Hospice in Colquitt County or the First Baptist Church of Norman Park.

Helen J. Perkins
SANFORD, Fla. — Helen J. Perkins, 77, of Sanford, Fla., formerly of Doerun, died Wedensday, July 11, 2001.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Smith; a sister, Dorothy Pierce; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
