Tires taken from vehicles

MOULTRIE — Thieves have stolen a wheel and tire off at least two vehicles in Southeast Moultrie over the past several days, Moultrie police reports indicate.

Frank Barton, of Third Street, reported that someone put his 1992 Geo Metro on a cinder block and stole a tire and wheel between Sunday and Monday, police reports said.

Phillip Walsh, of Second Street, reported that the left tire and wheel was stolen off his 1998 Honda Civic while it was parked on his property between Monday and Tuesday, police reports said.



Other incidents

Colleen Horne, of Bethel Avenue, reported Tuesday that her 8-week-old bulldog, half English and half pit, was stolen from her property, Colquitt County sheriff’s reports said.

Sandra Ferrell, of Third Street Southwest, reported that someone broke into her school bus between Saturday and Monday by prying open the doors, police reports said. The tag and left rear bumper were scratched, but no other damages were reported. Papers from Stringfellow Elementary School and from inside the bus were found in the street and around her property, reports said.



Arrests

Ronnie Perry, 42, 311-E Culpepper Ave., Doerun, was charged Monday with forgery.

Feliciano Reyes, 38, 136 Dean Matthews Road, was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving without a license and having improper headlights.

Mark Terrell, 32, of Moultrie, was charged Tuesday with failure to pay child support.

Enrique Salas, 27, 58 Regency Village, was charged Tuesday with drunk and disorderly conduct.

Bobby Thompson, 46, of Pavo, was charged Tuesday with violating probation.

Lynn Morton, 34, 389 Cherokee Drive, was charged Tuesday with two counts of forgery in the first degree and violating probation.

Clayton Connell, 32, 775 Sardis Church Road, was charged Sunday with simple assault, violating probation and cruelty to children in the second degree.

William Kinley, 26, 812 Doc Darbyshire Road, was charged Tuesday with forgery in the first degree and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, which is a felony.

Terry Hozell, 34, 408 10th Ave. S.E., was charged Tuesday with furnishing false information to police, violating parole and obstructing an officer.
