MOULTRIE — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department will open its 2004 youth baseball season on Monday with games in its Tiny Mites, Farm, Midget and Pony leagues.

The Tiny Mite and Farm leagues are the largest with 10 teams each.

The Tiny Mites will open with two games on Monday. Mobley Plant will face Southwest Georgia Bank at 6 p.m., and Larry’s Bait and Tackle will play Applebee’s at 7 p.m.

It will be the first of four nights of games next week.

All Tiny Mites games will be played on the Magnolia Sports Complex’s Field 5. Games will continue through May 25.

The Tiny Mites teams are:

Quality Employment, whose coach is Charles Barry. His players are Preston Barry, Tristian Frazier, Timothy Clay, Caleb Nowland, Sumner Hart, Houston Massey, Hunter Gay, Nicholas Mobley, Cody Nicholas, Justin Williams, Drew Merritt, Donovan Price and Jonathan Reynolds.

Holman’s, coached by Don Price. The players are T.J. Robertson, Baley Yarbrough, Taylor Horne, Hunter Price, Ryan Chatman, Tony Simpson, Scotty Sutley, Thomas Bryant, Chase Godwin, Henry Hagin, Arden Hall, Morgan Hart and Nelson Hamilton.

Wilson Plumbing, coached by Bobby Hawes. The players are Daniel Mobley, Lane Carroll, Nick Nicholas, Wade Hawes, Carson Wells, Samuel Smith, Adam Webb, O’Shay Williams, Warren Funderburk, Daniel Hall, Gage Hambers, Nicholas Harper, Ryan Harper and Zane Hembree.

Southwest Georgia Bank, coached by Warren Bozeman. The players are Jonah Bozeman, Alex Pate, Erik Garcia, Tyler Key, Dylan Flowers, Jacob Sutton, Tyler Glover, Taylor Buckner, Rakeem Hightower, Chad Jacobs, Cody Jenkins, Alex Johnson and Colby Scarbrough.

Bank of America, coached by Kent Shealy. His players are Blake Byington, Gabe Mobley, Quint Pitts, Lance Shealy, Braxton Jones, Austin Kinard,Quincy Lane, Ben Shiflett, Logan Johnson, Kellen Kern, Sam Key, Austin Lasseter and Gage Majors.

Rocky’s, coached by Joey Hathcock. The players are Eli Stripling, Brandon Chafin, Mack Hathcock, Eric Gould, Blake Lee, Matthew Wilkerson, Liles Hall, Garrett May, Hudson May, Preston McMurphy, Andy Meeks, Camben Massey and Parker Hoes.

Larry’s Bait and Tackle, coached by Bill Moody. The players are Devon Tyndall, Matthew Moody, Drew Penuel, Bryce Johnston, Jeremy Johnston, Thomas Williams, Adam Merritt, Dylan Sandowsky, Ted Sumner, Christopher Trammell, Ryan Wallace and Max Carr.
