Television stolen from Community Action Council

MOULTRIE — Moultrie police officers responded to an burglary alarm at Southwest Georgia Action Council, 109 11th St. S.W., about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. The front door had been kicked in, but no one was inside the building.
A Sanyo television, valued at $245, was taken. Damage to the door was estimated at $100.
Officers checked with neighbors, but no one had information on the break-in.
Other incidents
Bill Coleman, 3808 Ga. Hwy. 33 N., reported to deputies that someone cut the screen on this porch and entered his home, stealing two gold nugget rings, a gold nugget watch and $200, between 3:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Earshel Beck, 115 Baker St., Ellenton, reported that someone broke a window in his Chevrolet Blazer and stole a Jensen CD player, Intuition amp, Ferrheit amp and four Fatboy speakers in a box between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Teresa Hightower, 517 Third St. S.E., reported to Moultrie police officers that someone entered her home, causing minor damage to the door. Two speakers, valued at $200, were taken.
Yolanda Breland, 1310 Hallmark Drive N.W., reported that between noon and 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, stealing a Hewlett Packard computer, a Lexmark printer, a Nintendo Game Cube and several Nintendo games, with a total valued of $1,350. The back door was pried open.
Arrests
Crystal Slater, 26, 736 Joe Louis Ave., was charged Wednesday with two counts of issuing bad checks.
Travis McKenzie Moore, 19, 314 Sixth Ave. N.W., was charged Wednesday with theft by taking.
A 12-year-old boy was charged Wednesday with battery after repeatedly punching a female classmate in the face.
Charles Edward Moore, 24, 317 Sixth St. S.W., was charged Tuesday with violating probation.
Annette Kleckley, 29, 502 10th Ave. N.W., was charged Sunday with violating probation.
