Frank James Wright

MOULTRIE — Frank James Wright, 53, of 515 First St. S.W., died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.

Mr. Wright was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Bakersfield, Calif., to the late Ella Ahrens Wright and the late Charles “Tex” Wright. He was a Lutheran and a self-employed maintenance man.

Survivors include two sons, Brian James Wright and Daniel Edward Wright, both of Detroit, Mich.; a daughter, Emily Joy Wright of Detroit; one brother, John Wayne Wright of Tennessee; and eight grandchildren, Kaitlin, Brianna, Kaleb, Kathrine, Isabella Joy and Olivia Marie Wright and Mariah and David Anucinski Jr.

Harrell-Faircloth Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.



Billy Holder

NORMAN PARK — Billy Holder, 64, 141 W. Weeks St., Norman Park, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at First Baptist Church of Norman Park. The Rev. Shane Ashley will offficiate, assisted by the Rev. Jimmy Voyles. Interment will be at Cool Springs Cemetery in Norman Park. Casketbearers will be Devaughn Ross, Jody Cox, Jeff Miller, Vernon Roberts, Greg Holder and Lester Whitaker. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Roberts, David Roberts, Buddy Sutton, Joel Griffin, Dwayne Roberts and Randall Burnham.

Mr. Holder was born Aug. 17, 1941, in Cook County to the late James Troy Holder and the late Samantha Bennett Holder. He was retired from Hubbell Die Casting and a member of First Baptist Church of Norman Park.

Survivors include his wife, Aline Weeks Holder; a daughter, Kathy Holder Weeks and husband Donald of Norman Park; sisters, Mary Helen Edwards and husband James and Ann Council and husband Ray, all of Thomasville; and two grandchildren, Michael Weeks and Ashley Weeks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Holder; a brother, Bobby Holder; and a sister, Margaret Baldree.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, Oct. 23, at Baker Funeral Home.

Geraltine Cooper Knight

MOULTRIE — Geraltine Cooper Knight, 76, of Moultrie died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at The Woodlands Living Center in Moultrie.

The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Dion Brown, Pastor Curt McCollough, David Loyd and the Rev. Jesse Alligood officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Grove Cemetery with Rodney Cooper, Austin Hiers, Hiram Walker and Jimmy Jackson serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Knight was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Thomas County to the late Reva Loyd Cooper and the late Cliford Cooper. She worked for the Army in a Civil Service capacity and was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 399, Border Jumpers R.V. Club and the New Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Lawton Knight.

Survivors include her son, Vance Luke and his wife Donna of Tallahassee; daughter, Sharon Driver and her husband Clifton of Elko, Ga.; brothers, Joseph Cooper and wife Ellen and Carroll Cooper and wife Shirley all of Moultrie; three grandchildren, Amanda Driver Coody and husband Jordan, Alex Driver, and Tammy Wooten; one great-grandchild, Langley Rose Wooten; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 7 to 9 Monday evening at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
