Mary Nell Morgan Conger
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Mary Nell Morgan Conger, 84, the widow of Dr. Preston DeWitt Conger and formerly of Moultrie, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, in Spartanburg, S.C.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Wills officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
A native of Carrollton, Mrs. Conger was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar James Morgan. She attended West Georgia College and graduated from Emory University School of Nursing in 1939. She was active in the First United Methodist Church, PTA and the Service League, all in Moultrie. For many years, she enjoyed assisting her husband in his medical practice.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Camp and her husband Dr. Ernest Camp III of Spartanburg, S.C., Nell Lucius and husband William Lucius of Greenville, S.C. and Nancy Bell and husband Fredrick Bell III of Dalton; a son, Dr. Preston DeWitt Conger Jr. and wife Blanche Conger of Aiken, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Dr. Ramsey Camp, Morgan Camp, Dr. Meredith Lucius, Marian Lucius, John Bell, Wesley Bell, Blanche Conger and Preston Conger III; and her sister, Gladys Norris of Carrollton.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 757, Moultrie, Ga. 31776 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Margaret Bozeman Adair
ALBANY — Margaret Bozeman Adair, 83, of Morningside Assisted Living in Albany, formerly of Moultrie, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Trinity Baptist Church in Moultrie with the Rev. Michael Helms officiating.
Pallbearers will be her sons plus J.E. Autry III, Ashley Briggs and Kevin King.
Mrs. Adair was born April 2, 1919, in Mitchell County to the late W.E. and Lola Phillips Bozeman. She was a homemaker and a mother and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Robert Adair of Albany, formerly of Moultrie; three sons, William A. Adair and wife Linda, Rodney J. Adair and wife Eleanor Anne and Douglas M. Adair and wife Dede, all of Albany; two sisters, Faye Bozeman Autry and Raye Bozeman Autry, both of Hinsonton; five grandchildren, Angela Anne King, Tiffany Diane Luckey, Ashley Elizabeth Briggs, Valerie Irene Rogler and Mary Anne Weekley; eight great-grandchildren, Robert Briggs, Douglas Nobles, David King, Carrie Nobles, Matthew King, Gabriel Briggs, Jordan Weekley and Jackson Rogler.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.

Terry Preston Brinkley
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Terry Preston Brinkley, 52, of Tallahassee, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with burial at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Chuck Scarborough will officiate.
Mr. Brinkley was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Colquitt County to Annie Maude Hicks Brinkley and the late James L. “Bud” Brinkley. He worked in auto repair for Beavers Automotive. He was a Baptist.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Shane Brinkley of Tallahassee; one daughter, Wendy Brinkley of Tallahassee; two brothers, Larry Brinkley and wife Janice of Tallahassee and Darrell Brinkley of Hartsfield; and two sisters, Dianne Sasser and husband Lynwood of Doerun and Debra Ruis and husband Craig of Norman Park.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family may be contacted at the home of Darrell Brinkley at 3832 Thigpen Trail, Doerun, Ga. 31744.
