Ciprain R. Martinez

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Ciprain R. Martinez, 69, of Frankfort, Ky., died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at his residence.

Arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.



Lorene Hayes Aldridge

MOULTRIE — Lorene Hayes Aldridge, 52, of Moultrie died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.



John Willie Singleton

TIFTON – John Willie Singleton, 63, of Tifton, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The Rev. Doug Gibson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from noon today until the hour of services. Flowers will be accepted, or gifts may be made to Hospice of Tift Area.

Born Sept. 30, 1940, in Auburndale, Fla., Mr. Singleton was the son of Willie W. Singleton and HenryRetta Gay Singleton, both deceased. He was retired from The Tifton Gazette and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Singleton is survived by his wife, Janice Giddens Singleton of Tifton; three sons, John W. Singleton Jr. of Palm Springs, Calif., Tim Singleton of Statesboro and Bruce Singleton of Blakely; one brother, Jesse Singleton of Winter Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Reba Nipper and Laura Branch, both of Williston, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Brittani Singleton, Kelsey Singleton and John Houghston Singleton.

Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
