Cheryl Ann Gay Golden
NORMAN PARK — Cheryl Ann Gay Golden, 44, of Ellenton-Norman Park Road, Norman Park, died Monday, July 15, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at Baker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles and the Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating. Burial will be at Omega Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Jody Bozeman, Ricky Perry, David Sloan, Victor Martin, Ray Sloan, Jason Mercer, Brad Golden, Terry Golden and Joel Conger.
Mrs. Golden was born Sept. 15, 1957, in Colquitt County to J.H. Gay Jr and Carolyn Martin. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her parents; two sons, LaDon Golden and wife Donna of Moultrie and Justin Golden of Cairo; one daughter, Suzanne Groves and husband Kenneth of Moultrie; three brothers, Marty Gay of Ty Ty, James Gay of Topeka, Kan., and Roger Gay of Hahira; one sister, Teri Mercer of Norman Park; four grandchildren; and her grandparents, Earl Martin of Omega and Ruth Vickers of Haines City, Fla.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Baker Funeral Home

Christine Edith Goff Thompson
MOULTRIE — Christine Edith Goff Thompson, 76, of Pine Meadows Subdivision Road, Moultrie, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center, Moultrie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be John Thompson, Jeff Thompson, J.M. Gaines Sr., Julian McCorkle, Ralph Rickett and Marvin Martin.
Mrs. Thompson was born Feb. 25, 1926, in Colquitt County to the late Aline Dowdy Goff Reddock and the late Lemmie W. Goff. She was a homemaker and a Pink Lady at Colquitt Regional Medical Center with more than 4,000 hours of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Horace Thompson of Moultrie; two sons, the Rev. Ron Thompson and wife Linda of Cairo and Ricky Thompson and wife Laura of Albany; and five grandchildren, John Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Chase Thompson and Anna Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Thompson; and a brother, Jim Buck Goff.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Ralph Carmen Musick
MOULTRIE — Ralph Carmen Musick, 86, of 1513 Ninth St. S.W., Moultrie, died Monday, July 15, 2002, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randall Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Casketbearers will be Stacey McRae, Bill Best, Al Carter, Bryan Bass, Stacey Croy and Sonny Bass. Honorary casketbearers will be Colquitt County Sheriff’s Department personnel.
Mr. Musick was born Sept. 30, 1915, in Cleveland, Va., to the late Pearl Mae Smith Musick and the late Elbert F. Musick. He was a central office equipment supervisor at General Telephone and he was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Clara McRae Musick of Moultrie; one son, Aaron Musick and wife Vicky of Heyworth, Ill., one daughter, Alice Bass and husband John of Moultrie; two brothers, Clitus Musick of Cleveland, Va., and Leon Musick of Kingsport, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Bryan Bass, Erik Musick and Whitney Musick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Milton Musick.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family may be contacted at the family residence.

PERRY — Julia McKenna Welborn, beloved infant daughter of Will and Megan Welborn, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
