Ralph Franklin Rickett
MOULTRIE — Ralph Franklin Rickett, 74, of Moultrie died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Thompson officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Buck Creek Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Lance Rickett, Will Carson, Tim Beason, Chris Burdette, Will Taylor, Phillip Brinson, Brad Giddens and Mark Campbell. Honorary casketbearers will be the men of the Adult Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist Church.
Born Oct. 4, 1929, in Colquitt County, Mr. Rickett was the son of the late Carrie Thomas Rickett and John Bunn Rickett. He was a retired chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Russell R. Davidson Jr.; a brother, Max Rickett; and a sister, Hazel G. Fortenberry.
Survivors include his wife, Marguette Tucker Rickett of Moultrie; two sons, Ronald E. Rickett and wife Sheree of Moultrie and Ralph F. Rickett Jr. and wife Amy of Sylvester; three daughters, Cynthia Carson and husband Russell of Lake City, Fla., Joanna Knowles and husband Dennis of Havelock, N.C., and Christina Kent and husband Richard of Moultrie; and 10 grandchildren, Rhonda Burdette and husband Chris, Lance Rickett, Laura Taylor, Will Taylor, Will Carson, Melissa Carson, Shelby Kent, Micah Kent, Joshua Knowles and Elizabeth Montana and husband Paul.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral chapel.

Debora H. Boyd
MOULTRIE — Debora H. Boyd of Moultrie died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.
Cora Lee Weeks
MOULTRIE — Cora Lee Weeks, 79, of Moultrie died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Lewis Temple Church of God in Christ with Elder J.W. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Strong Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be the deacons of the church.
Born April 10, 1925, in Worth County, Ms. Weeks was the daughter of the late Sarah Holmes and Fred Holmes. She was a retired housekeeper and a member of Lewis Temple Church of God in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elige Weeks; a brother, Auther Lee Holmes; and a sister, Betty Jones.
Survivors include two brothers, Fred Holmes and wife Dee of Boston, Mass., and John L. Holmes and wife Brenda of Jacksonville, N.C., and two sisters, Mary L. McKelvary and husband Max of Moultrie and Grace McKoy of Boston, Mass.

MOULTRIE — Millard Fort, 78, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at Woodlands at Cobblestone in Moultrie.
