Cleo Weeks McDonald
MOULTRIE — Cleo Weeks McDonald, 72, of Moultrie died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside rites will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, at Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Robinson will officiate.
Born Jan. 13, 1930, in Colquitt County, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the late Essie Fussell Weeks and Robert C. Weeks. She was a retired bookkeeper and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allan Scott.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron Scott of Baltimore, Md., and Lester Scott of DeKalb County; a daughter, Teresa Mercer of Baldwin, Fla.; three sisters, Hazel Casteel and Ester Lively, both of Moultrie, and Leola Haddock of Pinehurst, N.C.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Linda Folsom Castleberry
ELLENTON — Linda Folsom Castleberry, 56, Colquitt Street, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 15, at Ellenton Baptist Church with the Rev. W.J. Plymel officiating. Burial will be at Cool Springs Cemetery in Norman Park. Casketbearers will be John Fletcher, “Bee” Lowery, Donnie Folsom, Harold Leverett, Keith Barrett and Tim Lamb.
Mrs. Castleberry was born April 18, 1946, in Cook County to the late Herbert Lee Folsom and Lula Bell Conger Folsom. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Castleberry of Ellenton; one son, Kim Flanigan of Ellenton; one daughter, Marcia Fletcher of Ellenton; brothers, Herbert Lee Folsom Jr., Seaborn Folsom and wife Mona, Jack Folsom and wife Barbara, John Folsom, Luke Folsom and wife Lisa, Mark Folsom and wife Melinda, all of Moultrie; sisters, Margaret Curls and husband Junior, Brenda Powell and husband James, Annie Bell Folsom, all of Moultrie, and Hazel Folsom of Tifton; and four grandchildren, Misty Flanigan, Brandon Flanigan, J. Fletcher and Matthew Fletcher.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky David Flanigan; a sister, Sally Folsom Pearson; and two brothers, C.H. Folsom and George Folsom.
The family will accept friends and family at the Ellenton Baptist Church from 2-3 p.m. today, Dec. 15.

Hallie Peace Kelsey
HILLSBORO, Ohio — Hallie Peace Kelsey, 77, of Hillsboro, Ohio, formerly of Norman Park, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at Greenfield Medical Center in Greenfield, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at First Baptist Church of Norman Park with burial at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jimmy Voyles will officiate.
Casketbearers will be Aaron Reynolds, Seth Morgan, Joshua Scheer, G.P. Peace, Mike Roberts and Frank Patterson. Honorary casketbearers will be Tommy Holden, Buddy Horne, Bubba Morgan and Ken Weaver.
Mrs. Kelsey was born July 27, 1925, in Colquitt County, Ga., the daughter of the late Ethel Holden Peace and John Thomas Peace. she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Norman Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Richard Kelsey, and one son, Ricky Kelsey.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Ann Reynolds of Hillsboro; three brothers, Paul Peace of Norman Park, Talmadge Peace of Plano, Texas, and Joel Peace of Cordova, Alaska; two sisters, Janice Peace Tonroy of Garland, Texas, and Faye Roberts of Branson, Mo.; five grandchildren, Becki Scheer, Rhonda Bohlendar, Aaron Reynolds, Ryan Kelsey and Joshua Scheer; and five great-grandchildren, Jackson Bohlendar, Grayson Bohlendar, Elizabeth Singer, Sofia Scheer and Zion Bohlendar.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family may be contacted at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Paul Peace, Norman Park.

Dr. Michael Howard Whittle
MOULTRIE — Dr. Michael Howard Whittle, 68, of Moultrie died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, in Laurens County.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Trin
ity Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Helms officiating. Burial will be at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Dr. Whittle was born July 11, 1934, in Augusta to the late Annie Lee Watkins Whittle and the late Benjamin Howard Whittle. He was a radiologist and retired from Colquitt Regional Medical Center. He was a former member of the Board of Trustees at the Medical College of Georgia, and he was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He served as a physician in Vietnam and retired from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Mulcay Whittle of Moultrie; two daughters, Kathryn Whittle McGehee and husband David of Macon and Susan Whittle Cannon and husband Clyde of St. Simons Island; two sisters, Linda W. Johnson of McLean, Va., and Comeria W. Sikes of Ft. Worth, Texas; and four grandchildren, Michael Paul McGehee, Laura Ann McGehee, Jennifer Janet West and Mary Kathryn West.
