Jennifer Buie
MOULTRIE — Jennifer Buie, 37, of Moultrie died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy Thompson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in St. James Pallbearers No. 2 Cemetery. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
Born Oct. 27, 1964, in Dolphin County, Penn., Ms. Buie was the daughter of Minnie Buie and the late Jack Buie. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her mother, Minnie Buie of Moultrie; two sons, Andre Buie and Jermaine Buie, both of Moultrie; four brothers, Jack Buie Jr. and Donald Buie, both of Moultrie, Robert Buie (Janice) of Hollywood, Fla., and Samuel Buie of Harrisburg, Penn.; a sister, Doris Ann Buie of Moultrie; four uncles, George Buie, Willie Buie (Barbara), Sam Buie (Ann) and Daniel Buie, all of Harrisburg, Penn.; three aunts, Francis Mathis (A.V.) of Harrisburg, Penn., Easter Mae Thomas (Curtis) and Lucille Gissendanner, all of Moultrie; and a grandmother, Lanie Jones of Moultrie.

Mrs. Martha Calhoun Green
FUNSTON — Mrs. Martha Calhoun Green, 81, of Funston died Monday, March 4, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Luke Strong and Son Mortuary Chapel with Minister William Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Schley Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Calhoun, George (Chris) Seals, Christopher Green, Steve Green and Harry Green.
Born June 22, 1920, in Mitchell County, Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late Ciscero and Leola Clark Calhoun. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, a son and two daughters.
Survivors include her husband, Aaron Green Jr. of Funston; three sons, Gene Green (Miriam) of Walnut Bottom, Penn., Charles Green of Oxnard, Calif., and Ralph Green (Janice) of Green Crystal Springs, Miss.; four daughters, Mary Alice Green of Funston, Evelyn Davis and Margaret Harvey (Jesse), all of Atlanta, and Bernell Seals (George) of Dothan, Ala.; an aunt, Eva Harrison of Pelham; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Brett Davis Love
MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — Brett Davis Love, 29, of Madison County, Ala., died Sunday, March 3, 2002, in Alabama.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 8, at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Stephens officiating.
Born June 25, 1972, in Aberdeen, Md., Mr. Love was the son of Patsy Bryant Love and the late Dicky A. Love. He was the vice president of sales with Linear Solutions.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Neal Love, and an uncle, Tony Love.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Love of Madison County, Ala.; his mother, Patsy Bryant Love of Hunstville, Ala.; a sister, Darrah Love of Huntsville, Ala.; a nephew, Jet Love of Huntsville, Ala.; his grandmother, Mrs. Mayme Davis Love of Moultrie; and aunts and uncles, Patricia Love of Moultrie, Gail and Theron May of Roundhill, Va., and Karla and Joe Chandler of Social Circle.

James Preston ‘Nick’ Allegood
MOULTRIE — James Preston “Nick” Allegood, 87, of Moultrie died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, at Bridge Creek Cemetery with Dr. Hugh Ward officiating.
Born Jan. 31, 1915, in Colquitt County, Mr. Allegood was a carpenter and attended East Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Allegood and wife Janice and Jimmy Allegood, all of Moultrie; daughters, Peggy Proctor and husband Jimmy of Doerun and Mary Baron
e and husband Tony of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Allie B. Norman and Hazel DeMott, both of Moultrie, Vindetta Weaver of Norman Park, and Verue Norris of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Moultrie Senior Center.

Mrs. Claudia Mae Rouse
NORMAN PARK — Mrs. Claudia Mae Rouse, 87, of Norman Park died Monday, March 4, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Ronnie Averett. Burial will be in Strong Memorial Garden. Pallbearers will be Otha Huckaby, Patrick Knighton, Dale Wright, Terry Huckaby, Eddie Dixonson and Jimmy Delgado.
Born Dec. 16, 1914, in Dothan, Ala., Mrs. Rouse was the daughter of the late Mrs. Annie Mae Roundtree. She was a retired housekeeper and a member of Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her children, B.C. Rouse Jr., James Rouse and Annie Mae Rouse Hayes.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Carolyn S. Knighton Huckaby (Otha Huckaby Jr.) and Patrick D. Knighton (Joan), all of Norman Park; seven great-grandchildren, Debra Denise Knighton, Timothy Knighton, Tanuqula Knighton, Nicole Sharp, Christopher Knighton, Patrick D. Knighton Jr. and Jimmy Delgado; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Adelle Lokey Thompson
MOULTRIE — Adelle Lokey Thompson, 91, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.
Arthur John Petrecca Jr.
ALBANY — Arthur John Petrecca Jr., 57, of 1303 Pinecrest Drive, Albany, died March 4, 2002.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors, Albany, with entombment at Crown Hill Mausoleum. The Rev. Paul Gautt will officiate.
Born in Quitman, Mr. Petrecca grew up in Albany and had lived in the Atlanta area for several years before moving back to Albany in 1999. He was a graduate of Albany High School and the University of Georgia with a degree in business administration. He served as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and had worked in personnel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur John “Art” Petrecca and Edna Dewberry Petrecca.
Survivors include a sister, Jill Petrecca Lanier of Atlanta; a brother, Robert Edward Petrecca of Atlanta; three nephews, Patrick Lanier, Michael Lanier and Robert Petrecca Jr.; an aunt, Jenny Dewberry Jones of Moultrie; two uncles, Dr. Glenn P. Dewberry of Bentley, Okla., and D. Carl Dewberry of Atlanta.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kimbrell-Stern.
