Vanessa L. Edwards
MOULTRIE — Mrs. Vanessa L. Edwards, 37, of Moultrie died at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, at Greater Newton Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. C.L. Ponder Jr. officiating. Burial will be in St. James Pallbearers Cemetery No. 2. Pallbearers will be Isaac Scott, Deacon Craig Silas, Deacon Fred Monts, Tony Williams, Kenny Williams and Moses Irvin.
Born Jan. 29, 1965, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of Letha Snelling and Ernest Snelling. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony Snelling and Franklin Jerome Williams.
Survivors include her parents, Letha Snelling and Ernest Snelling, both of Moultrie; her fiance, Nyne Jeudy of Moultrie; a son, Nyneson Seymour Jeudy of Moultrie; brothers, William L. Jordan Jr. and wife Patricia of Moultrie, Horace Holmes and wife Yvonne of Macon, Wallace Davis of Livermore, Calif., and Thomas Fair of Atlanta; sisters, Lucille Williams and husband Leo, Cynthia Lewis and husband Ira, and Glynis Snelling, all of Moultrie, Sonya Dennis and husband Schuyler of Douglasville, Diane William of Eastman and Sheldon Johnson of Asbury Park, N.J.; her grandfather, Moses Timmons of Moultrie; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Roger Dale Parson
MOULTRIE — Roger Dale Parson, 37, 201 Mark Lane, Moultrie, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Baker Funeral Home.
Ollie Bell Barnes Tharp
MOULTRIE — Ollie Bell Barnes Tharp, 90, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Magnolia Manor South Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Underwood.
Born April 6, 1912, in Society Hill, Ala., Mrs. Tharp was the daughter of the late Effie Smith Barnes and Joe Edgar Barnes. She was a retired lunchroom worker with the Colquitt County School System and was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Woodrow Tharp; a son-in-law, Jerry H. Bennett; two brothers; three sisters; and a grandson, Joey Gray.
Survivors include daughters, Bobbie T. Bennett and Betty T. Gray, both of Moultrie; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Edgar Allen Perry
MOULTRIE — Edgar Allen Perry, 90, of Moultrie died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bryon Perry and Dr. Jim Soles. Burial will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Deacons of Memorial Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
Born Feb. 16, 1912, in Crisp County, Mr. Perry was the son of the late Mary Hall Perry and Henry Perry. He was the retired owner and operator of Perry’s Gas and Ice Company and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Rutland Perry of Moultrie; two daughters, Doris Jean Perry of Moultrie and Annette Perry Robertson of Tifton; a sister, Mary Evelyn P. Finlon of Atlanta; and a grandchild, Frank Allen Robertson of Tifton.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Yuba Will Prince Webb
MOULTRIE — Yuba Will Prince Webb, 79, of Moultrie died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Daniels officiating.
Born Aug. 31, 1923, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Webb was the daughter of the late Yuba Sinclair Prince and Stan
ley William Prince. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Webb of Moultrie; a daughter, Janice Webb of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Florel Prince Braswell of Moultrie; and three grandchildren, Russ Webb, Brad Webb and Marc Webb.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Blanche Murphy Roache
MOULTRIE — Blanche Murphy Roache, 90, formerly of Smithwick Bridge Road, Coolidge, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Woodlands at Cobblestone.
