MOULTRIE — Hannah Mae Lang Brown, 90, of Moultrie died Sunday, Nov. 2,
2003, at Sunrise Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 4, at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Dr. Michael Warren officiating.

Born March 1, 1913, in Kissimmee, Fla., Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Hannah Mae Pennell Lang and William Lewis Lang. She was a secretary-bookkeeper and was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Evarts of Moultrie; a sister, Jennie Gibson of Largo, Fla.; and three grandsons.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.



James Earl Gray

MOULTRIE — James Earl Gray, 59, of Moultrie died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Rosehaven.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 4, at Rose of Sharon Cemetery with the Rev. Wiley Smith officiating.

Born May 9, 1944, in Colquitt County, Mr. Gray was the son of the late Susie Tillery Gray and Joe Gray. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Gray of Moultrie; a niece, Tammy Horne of Moultrie; great-nieces, Raven Horne and Becca Horne both of Moultrie; and a great-nephew, Andrew Horne of Moultrie.

Pauline Powell Roberts

TIFTON — Mrs. Pauline Powell Roberts, 71, of Tifton died Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Southern Care Personal Care Home in Tifton.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at First United Methodist Church in Tifton with the Rev. Jerry Lilliard, the Rev. Jay Roberson, the Rev. Christopher Ramsey and the Rev. James Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Lenox City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Roberts, Alan Roberts, Anthony Roberts, Jason Roberts, Bharat Patel, Philip Jones and Gerald White Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Southern Care Personnel, Dorothy Lavender, Faye Padgett, Hazel Massey, Betty Paulk, Rhonda Hobby, Marilyn Hatcher, Grace Dickens, Shelby Withers, Annie Ruth Freeman, Lenton Fletcher, Frank McGill, Randy Davis and Carol Gardner.

Born Jan. 12, 1932, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late James Leffie and Myrtle Paramoure Powell. She was a homemaker, a helpmate in Christian ministry, a retired sewing factory worker, and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Curtis C. Roberts of Tifton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Don Wayne and Wanda Roberts, Dr. Marcus C. and Marjie Roberts all of Tifton, and Randy C. and Laura Roberts of Anderson, S.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, James “Buck” and Margie Powell of Tifton; a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Gerald White of Franklin, N.C.; grandchildren, Bryan Roberts, Anthony Roberts, Diana R. and Bharat Patel, Kelly R. and Philip Jones, Alan Roberts and Jason Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral chapel.

Blanche Sarah Williams Rosencrantz

NORMAN PARK — Blanche Sarah Williams Rosencrantz, 82, of 214 Cool Springs Road, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Sunrise Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with interment at Deep Bottom Cemetery with the Rev. J.E. Moak officiating.

Mrs. Rosencrantz was born Oct. 13, 1921, in Colquitt County to the late Sallie Strawder Williams and the late Samuel Morgan Williams. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Rosencrantz.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Samuel “Bo” Rosencrantz of Moultrie; two daughters, Lynda Smith of Norman Park and Carolyn Doughtry of Moultrie; a special cousin, Billy Jackson of Albany; five grandchildren, CeCe Hunt, Wes Rosencrantz, Toni Large, Alicia Smith and Milynda Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Jeremy Hunt, Tyler Hunt, Kaycee Cross, Jennifer Cross, Zackery Cross, Hudson Large and Annalise Jolly.

MOULTRIE — Mrs. Donnie Bell Officer, 318 First Ave. N.W., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.
